[Mogget... isn't very good with children? He isn't very good with people in general, honestly, which is why he tends to avoid them; however, when he sees Kisa wandering around the pumpkin patch, he still finds himself sauntering right over to her. Part of it is boredom! There's absolutely nothing interesting to do in this place. There's also a part of him that's, you know, possibly a little curious as to how she's been faring these past few weeks. She's very small? He's not necessarily concerned about her, but...]
Planning to carve one, are you? [He leaps onto a pumpkin in front of her, sounding as bored with the whole thing as he possibly can.] People tend to pick the larger ones, but they are quite messy.
[Just some free advice as he gives her a quick once-over! How ya been, girl.]
... She did not expect the talking cat, but here he is, and honestly, she's way more comfortable with the cat than most people. And somehow still in one piece, so Mogget doesn't have to be concerned (well, she's sure he's not).
Instead, Kisa tilts her head and glances towards a much smaller pumpkin, then back at him. Would that be better? ]
[Mogget gives that pumpkin a critical look, because after carving one (1) pumpkin he is definitely an expert. Hmm!]
It will do.
[And this is where he wishes her good luck and trots along his merry way, but... nah. Instead, he hops off his perch and slinks over to the pumpkin in question, stretching out one paw to give it a brisk pat.]
I doubt you wish to carve anything intricate. A simple face, perhaps. [He glances back at her, considering.] Do you have a knife?
[HELLO, A RANDOM ACTION THREAD IS HAPPENING. Namely that Minato was kind of hoping that carving pumpkins would help cheer Elizabeth up, but... he's carrying a fair number of different sized ones in his arms and one tumbles right over out of his grasp to Kisa's feet.
Kisa wasn't expecting a pumpkin to suddenly appear in her path and she very nearly trips over it, stumbling out of the way and peering at it uncertainly until Minato clears his throat.
Instantly, her head jerks up in his direction, eyes wide and a little scared, but... well, he's got an armful of pumpkins. This one is probably also his, and after a pause, she slowly scoops it up and inches closer to offer it back to him. ]
[ Truly! The door swings open silently, and there Kisa is, peeking out from behind it nervously-- until she recognizes Minato and the nerves turn to confusion. She does step out a little more, at least. ]
[ He's coming to really like walking in the snow. Not that he's never seen snow before -- plenty of places he was deployed to got snow -- but he's never had this much time to just quietly enjoy it. So Jion walks a lot, choosing routes that haven't been walked on so he can feel it squeak and crunch beneath his boots.
The path he takes is meandering in loops and circles around Flavo, the fog of his breath puffing around him, and he idly glances at windows as he passes by houses.
So of course he notices that little shape of a person by one particular window, covered in a blanket. He stands on tiptoes, then tries to look from the side to make out who it is -- it takes a little effort to recognize Kisa's hair past the folds of the blanket.
On Kisa's part, she might hear the shuffle of footsteps scuffling through the snow, slowly approaching the house, before there's a gentle tap-tap at her window. Jion's leaning against the sill, and he gives her a friendly little wave if he can catch her eye. ]
[ The blanket flinches a bit, her eyes widening once she looks up and spots him smiling through the window. After a short pause, Kisa shifts to her feet, blanket pulled tight around her and heads not for the window, but the door, to crack it open.
hey so i haven't seen you around in a while part of that is cause i haven't left the house in a while!! so my bad but since the town's still doing weird stuff again in a SUPER sucky way x2 i wanted to check how you're doing so how ARE you doing
sierra has been plagued by very good dreams, in her long sleep. memories of rean, of loving and being loved, only interrupted by a vision of the town that she should perhaps speak to others about at some point in the future.
but not now. ]
…
[ she knocks gently on kisa’s door, without saying anything, but who else would it be? ]
[ There's a series of very quick, light footsteps and then Kisa's--
... Not flinging the door open, per se, because she's more polite than that, but she's opening it very quickly and staring at Sierra half-anxiously and half-excitedly. ]
[Almost immediately, Damian understands who he's supposed to be, with his breathable and puffy knee-length pants, curved slippers, belted tunic and simple turban. More than that, it's the oil lamp. (There's another indicator, too, a ring on his finger.)
Here and there, he runs into the usual trouble. He's stuck in a cave for a while with just the ring until he finds the lamp itself. He gets out. It's strange to see his mother, Talia of all people, dressed in a fitting fairytale attire. This turns out to be more stupifying than having a jinn come out of a lamp.
But then the lamp is gone, but he has the most terrible urge to find it, that the missing isn't simply a stutter in the town jumping around the tale. It ends up with Kisa, suddenly, out of nowhere, and she is roped into the tale as quickly and effortlessly as anything. Princess Badrou-al badour, "full moon of full moons." The two of them are probably going to freeze in these clothes.
The thing is, Damian has limited time. Kisa's house on the inside turns into a palace. When he climbs in through the window, it puts him high up in one inside the glorious expansive front room.]
Kisa! [Too late? That ugly, old, shitty sorcerer is already in and trying to trick Kisa into exchanging an old lamp for a new one.] Unhand the lamp, you dried-up imbecile!

[ She's honestly not sure what's been the worst so far, with the adventures she's had: being shrunken down to the size of a toy in a soldier's outfit, or... this... gauzy... embarrassing thing. It's pretty, she supposes, but not very warm.
She's not sure how Sierra's going to feel about the house warping into a palace, but at the moment, she's got bigger concerns to worry about, yelping as the wizened puppet tugs the lamp (where had that come from anyway) out of her grip. ]
Damian--!
[ SHE IS... VERY CONFUSED. She's been confused for awhile now, but here she is, very much baffled now. ]
[Tonbokiri is out and about at least once a day, in order to check on Mikuniguro at the stables. As it is the midst of winter, he doesn't often see other people on his way. However this overcast day is happily different.
Even though it has been so long since he's spoken to her (literally- she hadn't said a word), it is easy for Tonbokiri to recognize the slight girl wandering towards him on the path worked in the snow.
Holding up one hand in greeting, as the other is holding his spear as always, he calls out gently,]
Hello, Kisa-chan. Have you been doing all right?
[He has a moment of great thankfulness towards Arisato-dono for having told him the girl's name some time ago. This encounter would have been much more awkward otherwise.]
[ ... Ah. Kisa hadn't expected him to know her name, and her head shoots up, her eyes widening-- but after a few seconds, she takes a nervous breath and finally, finally speaks up with a polite little dip of her head. ]
H-hello.
[ Well. By "speak up", it's more like "squeak quietly", but it's still audible enough. ]
This time, Damian goes to seek Kisa out. He doesn't send anything over the laptops first, he simply... shows up to knock on her and Sierra's door. (Hopefully, Mom doesn't answer.) He doesn't seem to have anything with him, not even a tuxedo cat trailing behind, but he's in the medieval leather jacket he's had for a while, the one hand-stitched in the back with the shielded S emblem.
Both hands are tucked into the pockets, and when and if she answers, she'll get a nod of greeting.]

Like before, he seeks her out at the house first instead of trying anywhere else. Hopefully he won't run into the vampire, though he supposes it won't matter either way if he does or doesn't. He knocks, briefly, with the side of his fist, loud enough to be heard.]
